Anne’s Family Services has been serving families in Los Angeles for more than 113 years and today is a premiere social service agency. Since first opening its doors in 1908 as a home for pregnant women with nowhere else to turn, St. Anne’s has grown into one of the most highly regarded social service agencies - rising to the challenge of meeting the ever-changing needs of Los Angeles' most vulnerable populations by offering an array of comprehensive services that promote the safety, resilience, and ongoing achievement of the children and families we serve. Anne’s Family Services offers an array of comprehensive programs including: short-term residential therapeutic program; supportive housing including transitional housing and permanent supportive housing; mental health; early childhood education; family literacy; workforce development, as well as access to, and collaborations with, other agencies and providers. COA accreditation means that our organization’s programs, services, administration, and management have been rigorously evaluated and meet best practice standards. For more than 14 years, St. Anne's has received four-star ratings from Charity Navigator, indicating strong transparency, accountability and financial viability. Today is the last day of Latino/a Heritage Month, and we’re so proud to end it by celebrating our Assistant Vice President of Hospitality & Facilities Operations, Jorge Alcocer. 🥳

Each day, Jorge leads the planning and preparation of hundreds of delicious and nourishing meals for our residents, children, cafe customers, and catering clients. He also oversees the facilities team and does it all with care, meeting the highest standards to maintain our campus and sites.

Jorge, thank you for your attention to detail and for nourishing our community with such grace and passion. 🥘🍽️

As the celebration for Latino/a Heritage Month continues, we’re proud to spotlight Daisy Delgado. 💛

Daisy is the Director of Residential Services for our Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP), which serves youth and non-minor dependents across Southern California. She has worked in residential programs for over 10 years.

As a Traumatic Stress Institute certified trainer in Risking Connections, Daisy has coached our staff and leadership to help guide us towards fostering trauma-informed, restorative culture within our residential programs where young people can heal. 🫂

Thank you Daisy for keeping us aligned with best practices for care and crisis intervention for the young adults in our care.

Today, we want to take a moment to thank every educator across our learning centers and home-based services for playing such a crucial role in carrying out our mission.

Our Early Childhood Education teams are building classrooms where children feel safe, curious, and loved. Our teams providing home-based services bring that same care to families at their kitchen tables and living room floors.

Educators, the work you do shapes how children learn and believe in themselves. It also helps families see what’s possible for their children. That is a gift, and we don’t take it lightly. No matter where you teach, please remember that you are making an impact and changing our families’ lives for the better.

In honor of Latino/a Heritage Month, we’re celebrating Veronica Ortega, whose story reflects resilience and strength. 🌟

Her journey with St. Anne’s Family Services began when she was a new mother in search of childcare. Today, she serves as a member of our incredible Early Childhood Education division and she was recognized as the Triumph Award honoree at this year’s Evening of Angels Gala.
