USAC Facilities Commission Welcome to the USAC Facilities Commission! We are one of the 14 offices of USAC, our undergraduate
student government.

Our office focuses on supporting and
advocating for the foundation necessary for students to
have a fulfilling college experience. Our efforts range from
programming initiatives to the implementation of structural

Meet the Committee (1/5): EJ NOW! (Environmental Justice Now!) ☘️

EJ Now is FAC’s environmental justice oriented committee, led by Ivy Nguyen and Ashlyn Rogers 🌴! EJ Now works to advocate for sustainability and environmental equality both on and off campus 📘! Their main goals for the year are to advance food equity and access 🥗, build relationships with local environmental orgs 🍃, advocate for emergency preparedness 🚑, and engage in volunteer work 🪴!

🚉 BRUIN U-PASS TUTORIAL 🪪

Do you want FREE public transit access across 13 LA County public transit agencies?? 🚌 Follow these steps to order your BRUIN U-PASS starting 9/14

1️⃣ Go to 🔗 bruintap.ucla.edu (link in bio) and login with your MyUCLA username and password.

2️⃣ After being redirected to the bruinTAP Transit Portal, click “Purchase” under Bruin U-Pass for the upcoming quarter (e.g. Fall 2026). Then confirm and submit your order (for free)!

3️⃣ Use your activation code to set up either a virtual or physical card (only one!) by typing in your card number and activation code. Now you’re done! Your card is ready for use after 1 hour! ⌛️(Cards can be activated starting 9/14 for fall 2026)

Commons U-Pass FAQs
- 🪪 To pick up a physical card for the first time (or for a replacement), go to the Central Ticket Office from Mon-Fri 10 am-4 pm.
- You CANNOT have both a physical 🪪 and virtual📱TAP card-that will invalidate both!
- TAP cards are not ❌ transferable to friends (or enemies) and do not allow more than one person per trip.
- No your TAP card isn’t broken, you just need to reactivate it each quarter 🔄 - using the same process!
- A summer U-Pass can be purchased for $30 if you are staying in the area

📚UNDERUTILIZED SPACES: Powell CLICC CLASSROOMS & CHARGER RENTALS📚

As we come up on the last finals of the year, let us put you on to the CLICC classrooms in Powell, perfect for studying or collaborating! Additionally, we know you Bruins are studying hard and running down your device’s battery 🪫 So instead of trekking back to your dorm or apartment to grab the charger you forgot to pack, be sure to make use of the free charger lockers on the first floor of Powell 🔋!!

Hi Bruins! I’m Paige Zwerner, and I will be your Facilities Commissioner for the 2026-2027 term. I am incredibly honored to be serving the UCLA community this year to improve our accessibility, sustainability, and infrastructure. Thank you so much for electing me. 🫶

To introduce myself a little more, we have compiled a list of fun facts about me that are (mostly) not student government-related! I’m currently a third-year, soon-to-be fourth-year, double-majoring in Political Science and Communications. But to give you a quick overview of my time in student government, I currently serve as the UC Student Association’s Academic Affairs Officer and the Transfer Student Representative Chief of Staff. I am also a part of the BOS committee in FAC. In previous years, I have been a part of the office of the President, IVP, and ISR.
