Infants and young children are amazingly clever when it comes to learning a language. Here at the Language Development Lab at the University of Southern California, we are conducting IN-PERSON and ONLINE research studies to see how they learn so much so quickly!

We are currently looking for families with 0- to 48-month-old children to participate in our studies. You can sign up at:

Our in-person studies are running on the USC University Park Campus, and we will provide a free parking day pass for your visit and a small gift as a token of our appreciation. Our online studies are running through Zoom, where you can participate from the comfort of your home! During the study, your child would watch some video clips for approximately 5-10 minutes, and their reactions will be recorded. You would be with your child at all times. At the end of the study, you will receive a $15 Amazon gift card as a token of our appreciation. Your participation is entirely voluntary, and you can terminate your participation at any time.
