🚨 THIS is what distracted driving looks like 🚨
Phone in one hand resting on the lap.
Eyes down trying to figure out which interchange to take.
Suddenly realizing the exit is coming up fast…
Panic sets in.
Unsafe lane change.
No signal.
No awareness of surrounding traffic.
Thankfully, no crash occurred today — but judging by the condition of the vehicle, this may not have been the first close call.
Citations issued:

• Cell Phone Use While Driving
• No Driver License
Vehicle parked until a licensed driver arrived to take possession.
Reminder to licensed drivers:

📵 Put the phone down.
👀 Keep your eyes on the road.
🚘 Drive responsibly.

Recently E-motos and E-bikes have been a major topic in the news causing fatal collisions. Not only are they dangers for the operator to ride but they are dangerous for the public around them .
January 1st parents can now be held liable for the actions of their minor when permitting them to operate illegal bikes and motos.
Parents please look over your child’s bike and ensure they are in proper class and not illegal for the roadways.
As the weather starts to heat up more and more motorcycles tend to get out on the roadways. Keep an eye out for our two wheeled commuters. As you see in this video a mirror check and blind spots check would have avoided this scenario.
Unsafe lane changes is one of the 5 major moving violations that cause crashes daily in the city of Los Angeles. Let’s all work together to lower these numbers and drive safe so we can arrive alive.
Drivers check those mirrors, check those blind spots and don’t rely solely on the sensors in these newer vehicles.
Riders, HEAD CHECKS ARE FREE use them!!!

Sorry no videos this time 🙈.
On 05/05/2026 your WTD CTSU Motors conducted a 2 hour saturation in the Westchester Neighborhoods of 77th st and 80th st for stop signs.
Over the course of 2 hours 43 traffic stops were conducted.
33 citations issued for stops signs and various other infractions associated with them such as no insurance and unlicensed drivers and 1 vehicle was impounded.
Yesterday was national speed day and this just so happened to take place.
61 MPH in a posted 35 MPH is unsafe speed. 25+ MPH over the limit disqualifies you from traffic school unless taken to court and a judge grants you the ability to do so.
Cell phones continue to be a major issue and major distraction. Even during this stop driver is playing scrabble on the phone 🙈. Law is no touching, one tap or one swipe when mounted is allowed. Emergency calls to Police, Fire and EMS are exempt.
Lights flashing and a siren continuously or intermittently sounding/ chirping means pull to the right.
Bus lanes are for busses unless entering to turn right when and where the lines are broken.
Recently there has been a major increase in people using the bus lane as a passing lane and driving at unsafe speeds.
These unsafe speeds can be too fast for the prevailing conditions or Impeeding traffic by driving to slow and or stopping completely.
PS: Did you know that the MTA buses in some locations are equipped with cameras now to send out civil penalties for vehicles parked in the bus lane? Well now you do!
Street markings are there for a reason.
Giant white arrows even tell you what direction you are to go as well.
