An E-2C Hawkeye, attached to the "Screwtops" of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 123, performs a fly-by for family and friends of crew members during an air power demonstration held by USS Enterprise (CVN-65) in the Atlantic Ocean, 17 December 2007, during a three-day Tiger Cruise. The Big E and embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 1 were on a scheduled six-month deployment. πΊπ²β

U.S. Navy Seamen and U.S. Air Force Airmen, receive and fuel a U.S. Navy F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to Strike Fighter Squardon 2 (VFA-2), arriving at the 129th Rescue Wing at Moffett Air National Guard Base, Calif., in preparation for the Super Bowl LX flyover, on Feb. 3, 2026. The aircraft and crew participated in community events and flying rehearsals during the days following the big game. πΊπ²β

USS Enterprise (CVAN-65) arrives in San Francisco Bay, 6 July 1967, after her second Vietnam Cruise, "her aircraft having completed 13,435 catapult launches, flying 13,392 battle missions during 132 days of combat operations, 11,470 sorties, the ship steaming 67,630 miles within the 7th Fleet. Pilots assigned to 1st Battalion, 211th Aviation Regiment fly overhead in an AH-64 Apache attack helicopter between gunnery training operations Exercise Hydra at Utah Test and Training Range, Utah, May 7, 2025. Exercise Hydra is a Utah National Guard-led, joint, multi-domain combat training exercise designed to simulate real-world operations across air, land, and cyber domains. The exercise brings together the 151st Wing (KC-135), 419th Fighter Wing (F-35), 19th Special Forces Group, 65th Field Artillery Brigade, and multiple Army and Air Force elements to test joint targeting, rapid insertion, battlefield communication, and dynamic problem-solving. π«‘π«‘
