It’s National Beach Safety Week, and with warm air temperatures expected throughout the week, it is important to remember that one of the most important things you can do to prepare for a safe day at the beach is to talk with a lifeguard when you arrive.

Lifeguards are knowledgeable about current ocean and beach conditions, can point out any existing hazards, and direct beachgoers to the safest areas to swim.

Be sure to stop by the nearest open lifeguard tower on your next trip to the beach. We look forward to seeing you soon!
