African Coalition is a non-profit organization, founded in 2009, in response to the growing challenges of mental illness in African communities, lack of culturally competent outreach, and educational mental health services.
African Coalition was created for charitable and educational purposes. As opposed to most programs that offer a one-dimensional plan at treating issues faced by at-risk individuals, African Coalition takes a more comprehensive approach. African Coalition combines the compassionate goal of supporting our clients through a time where compassion and empathy are the most essential and economic goals of providing much-needed resources when subsidies are vital.
-The guiding principles of African Coalition’s programs, training and consultations are a concern for others, integrity, and respect for both cultural and linguistic-appropriate services.
-African Coalition is a collaboration of African Communities consisting of Community leaders, Religious Leaders, Service providers, Businesses, and Individuals
