What's New in the Updated Safe Sleeping Guidelines for Infants American Academy of Pediatrics has updated its safe sleeping guidelines.

I was very honored to speak at the press conference announcing the expansion of the hospital where Haven was born, and then where her life was saved. I feared that walking back through the doors where I had carried my limp baby would be traumatic for me- it was quite the opposite. We enjoyed the victory march of bringing in a smiling, waving, babbling girl who even decided to unveil the expansion herself a bit early by banging on the keyboard with her foot and advancing to the rendering photo... What a joy to see many of her incredible caregivers again and to celebrate a hospital that will forever be a part of Haven's miraculous story.
