Movie night for tomorrow is canceled!

Tomorrow February 17th, the Anthropology Club is hosting a fundraiser for a trip to Morocco, which I'm going to, at The Faculty(the bar behind LACC) @ 6PM and on. For every beer bought, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to fund my classmates and myself to go to Morocco in May. Please stop by and join the fun! Feel free to invite anyone you please as well. Hope to see you there!

Los Angeles City College Black Student Union are having a movie night this coming Wednesday, February 18th! Movie is Ruby Bridges! The time will be at 5:15pm
Location is outside of the college's student union on the steps at the Amphitheater!
For those who don't know, it's about a young African American girl who was one of the four children scoring high on a test for elementary school. Bridges was the top one and was attending an all-white elementary school. To the white people, it was wrong for her to come there. I believe this movie have a strong sense of how education was hard for our race at that time and still is, but things nowadays is getting better slowly. She is now an activist. It's a TV movie that was in the late 90's. May I add that Disney pictures was a part of this?
Oh there's also FREE POPCORN AND FREE SNACKS!!! :D Everyone is welcome to come!!!!
