Mama Hill's Help

Mama Hill's Help is a non-profit after-school program for at-risk children and youth in South Los Angeles.

Out of her own home Millicent "Mama" Hill started the program in order to educate, reduce gang violence, and strengthen families. Mama Hill’s Help is known by everyone in the community as a “safe haven.” Many former gang members often stop by Mama Hill’s to speak to the children about the dangers of gangs and drugs.
