This Pride Month, we celebrate the resilience, strength, and brilliance of the LGBTQ+ community, especially those who are healing, reentering society, or starting fresh. At A New Way Of Life, we believe everyone deserves dignity, opportunity, safety, and the freedom to be themselves. This month, we honor the voices, stories, and leadership of LGBTQ+ people who have experienced incarceration.

The Fair Chance Improvement Act protects job seekers by requiring employers to justify why they won't hire someone with a record. It gives applicants the right to see why they were disqualified and a fair chance to defend their background with evidence of personal growth. Urge your lawmakers to support AB 2095! Our voice are louder together!
