National Unity Platform Patriots Day Convention slated for August 12th-14th 2022 in Long Beach California.

Its has come to our attention that Abbey Walusimbi has organised a victory party for dictator Museveni Tibuhaburwa tomorrow at his residence at 14747 Kittridge Street Van Nuys California. Abbey Walusimbi is calling and texting vulnerable Ugandans inviting them for the same function.. We call upon fellow Ugandans to avoid attending that party because it is sanitizing the current kidnaps, murders and torture of Ugandans by the dictator.

NOTICE:

The Executive Board of the National Unity Platform just passed the results of 15 constituencies in the Central Region which were subjected to re-evaluation. The candidates below have emerged successful after the second round of evaluation.

Later on, our list of candidates for the Western Region shall be released.

By way of reminder, all candidates who are aggrieved by their results have the right to petition the Executive Board within 48 hours from the time of release of the results. A panel has been put in place to handle all appeals expeditiously.

Today, the Executive Board of the National Unity Platform sat and passed candidates for the position of Member of Parliament for various constituencies in the Central Region. The Board also approved Hon. Nabilah Naggayi Sempala as candidate for Lord Mayor of Kampala.

There are positions whose results were deferred for re-evaluation on account of different reasons. A team supervised by the Deputy President, Central Region is undertaking this task in the next 48 hours.

Tomorrow, we should be able to release a list of candidates for the Eastern region, and subsequently for the Northern and Western regions.

The agony of our country!

Kibalama just told court the following:

1. He met with the CDF who questioned him about changes in party leadership.

2. He has been under detention for two weeks in Mbale, surrounded by the military.

3. Lawyers who he didn't know brought him affidavits to sign and change his earlier affidavits.

4. He denied knowledge of the video in which he appeared saying that Hon. Kyagulanyi promised him 5 million US Dollars. He reiterated that a party is not for sale, and he has never sold the party. Impliedly, he confirmed that he was forced to say this.

5. He prayed to court to help him secure his freedom, clearly afraid of what may happen to him after court.

Tomorrow morning at 9:00am we return to the High Court in respect to the case filed against our us, on the orders of the state. Last week, the learned judge ordered for the appearance of our former President, Mr. Moses Nkonge Kibalama for cross-examination. We hope the military will adhere to the court order and produce him before court as directed.
