Happenings Around Town!
The Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Cinemark Theater, has a summer movie program for children. Children movies are 10:00 am, Wednesday and Thursdays for a whopping $1.75.

UNNC is hosting an emergency preparedness workshop this Saturday, June 6, at our regular meeting spot at the Gramercy Place Apartments. Join us along with Vincent F.P. Ababao for a morning of education and community building! Food will be provided.

WHAT IS IT?
Council President Marqueece Harris-Dawson is hosting a FREE community hiring fair open to all residents of the 8th Council District and surrounding South LA communities. This is a one-stop shop for anyone who is looking for a job, wants to explore career opportunities, or needs resources and support to get back to work.

• 20+ employers have been invited spanning a wide range of industries including:
- City departments: LADOT, LAWA, LADWP, and the Port of Los Angeles
