Common Good Opportunity - Roll with us and AIDS/Lifecycle!

ISO ten cheerful souls to help us run a Yacht Club-inspired rest stop for AIDS/Lifecycle’s “Day on the Ride” training event. On Saturday April 16th at Yorkdale Elementary in Highland Park, we’ll set up pop-tents, bike parking and serve snacks and bevos to cyclists as they stop in for a breather along their route. Help us do our damnedest to gas up all the riders for their push to the finish.

AIDS/LifeCycle is a 7-day fundraising bike ride event from SF to LA that raises money for HIV/AIDS services at the Los Angeles LGBT Center. Day on the Ride is a fully supported training ride event that helps prepare participants for the 7-day event taking place in June. Volunteers who support the training ride events help to offset significant production costs and funnel fundraising dollars directly to services for those in need.

Yacht Club dodgeball is back, babies!

It has been a minute tho, so we’re taking baby steps. Over the next few months we’ll be hosting open-gym-style dodgeball in Venice Beach, North Hollywood, and Highland Park.

A few important things to keep in mind:

You must register for each night you will play

You will need to show proof of vaccination (both when you register and day of)

Masks are required during game play

Spots are limited, so please only register for days you know you can make. We want to give as many people as possible the chance to get a little taste of ERYC

First three weeks are free (bc we heart you)

Of course if you’re up for it, we'll grab drinks after at your neighborhood watering hole and pretend like nothing ever happened. Maybe cry a little afterwards tbh.

North Hollywood: March 22-April 26 Tuesdays @8 p.m.

Highland Park: March 30-May 4 Wednesdays @8 p.m.

Venice Beach: April 4-May 23 Mondays (New Night) @8 p.m.
