Join us for a special magic show with Magical Katrina on Tuesday, November 12 at 4:30 p.m!

Katrina Kroetch has professionally performed her unique blend of playful and whimsical magic worldwide for families for over 11 years and in over 18 different countries, such as France, Germany, Africa, India, Mexico, and even America. She has been a cast member of the international touring show Champions of Magic and a performer on numerous network television shows, including Masters of Illusion and Penn and Teller: Fool Us. She’s volunteered and been an advocate for Magicians Without Borders and the nonprofit Emergency Circus.

The LA Kings are coming to Baldwin Hills Branch Library! Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 1st at 4:00 PM. Join us for a special reading of B is for Bailey by the LA Kings Ice Crew and Bailey himself.

Children and teens! Join us on Thursday, July 27th at 4pm for a Robot Building: An overview and demonstration of full-size entertainment robots and animatronics. Live speaker with multiple examples of robots, materials used to make robots, and the description of different processes to make robots. The audience will learn: How robots and animatronics are made. With props and photographs, explain 3d modeling and printing, fabrication, and puppeteering of the creations.

Join us for a special event this Thursday, July 20th at noon, with the Los Angeles Dodgers! We will have an Alumni Dodgers player visit our library to share some fun activities—book read-alouds, trivia questions, movement activities, and more. This will be in our community room; all are welcome to attend. Limited to 50 participants.
