YES! A year can change you a lot!! In the past I had always seen the “changes “ - changes in my weight, my hair color, my heart, my faith, my living situation, my family, my health, my country... the list goes on and on... in probably 99% of those changes I seemed to focus on the negative- the losses, the sadness, the absence of... this year I have made one simple change in myself and today I see the 99% of the incredible blessings I have been given- my hair- I have some, my heart- it beats regularly and it has endless space to care for others, my faith- with regular testing I have proven over and over it is STRONG, my living situation- I have a home- a roof over my head, my family- though I have lost this past year in it I have many amazing memories- those are what I choose to hold on to, my health- so far I have woken up 100% of the days, my feet hit the floor and I completed the tasks assigned, my country- each day there is negative news, I hear constant stories of injustice and tragedy- this one is the 1% something I MUST SEE THE NEGATIVE- ALWAYS REMEMBER- fight to preserve DAILY! Use my voice to fight for freedom, safety and justice for those who cannot! What will you do with your 100%?? Focus on the have nots, what ifs, OR THE HAVES, THE WHAT CAN I DO FOR MY COUNTRY?
