Empowering Women Through Education

Malawi is one of the list developed countries that heavily relies on international aid and donations. Some of the challenges in this country include gender inequality that results in early child marriages and limited access to education for girls. The video shows features an organization called More ThanAid that believed that aid has made many developing countries to depend on aid making them depend on donations and therefore they help people so that they can help themselves. More ThanAid, therefore, identified women leaders who had passion and who would pioneer change and become role models for girls the initial objective was to make sure women attend high school. To raise school fees for these girls, they made good that would be sold internationally
