Art Night is tomorrow, bringing together creativity, connection, and community as women in our recovery program share their stories through art and self expression in a space of healing and support.

Thank you to Montana Shop for generously donating spray paint to help make this event possible.

We are grateful for partnerships that help create space for healing and creativity. 🎨

Not everyone experiencing homelessness is struggling with drug or alcohol addiction, and it’s important to see the full picture beyond stereotypes.

This week’s Midnight Minute with Georgia invites you to tour The Midnight Mission and learn more about the people and work behind our mission.

Join us tomorrow June 4th for Art Night, featuring artwork from women at TMM, along with music and community connection that helps break stigma around homelessness.

Join us in building understanding and connection. ❤️‍🩹

Thank you to The Art of Elysium for helping create a space where voices could be heard through poetry, storytelling, and art. At The Midnight Mission, we believe creative expression can be a powerful part of healing, allowing participants to share their truth, build confidence, and connect through their experiences.

Thank you to The Art of Elysium for an unforgettable evening of creativity and expression. Poetry gives our participants the opportunity to use their voice, tell their stories, and transform emotion into art, something The Midnight Mission proudly encourages as part of the healing journey.

Through poetry, our participants were able to speak from the heart and share pieces of their journey in a meaningful way. Thank you to The Art of Elysium for partnering with The Midnight Mission to create a space where art becomes a tool for healing, self expression, and empowerment.

Consistency is what turns help into healing. When you become a Midnight Partner, your monthly gift quietly keeps essential care moving every day: meals served, people nourished, and stability growing over time.

For example:
• $50 a month helps provide meals to neighbors who would otherwise go hungry
• $80 a month helps multiple people receive healthy meals
• $100 a month helps provide dozens of meals in our community
It’s not just one moment of kindness.

It’s dependable care people can count on.

Join us in showing up month after month. Link in bio! 🌟

Alexis shares what he’s most grateful for in his recovery journey at The Midnight Mission, including stability, support, and the kind of consistency that makes staying sober possible one day at a time.

Stories like his reflect what recovery really looks like when someone is surrounded by care, accountability, and a place to rebuild from the ground up. Healing does not happen in isolation. It grows in community.

If you or someone you love is looking for support, help is available. You do not have to do it alone.

“This is the best day ever.”

That's what one of the women in our recovery program said after our art session last Friday.

Not because the painting was perfect, but because for a few hours she had the freedom to create, express herself, and simply enjoy the moment.

For women rebuilding their lives through recovery, moments like these are about more than art. They are about healing, confidence, connection, and hope.

We invite you to experience that transformation during DTLA Art Night on Thursday, June 4, from 5:00–8:00 PM at 500 S. Main Street in Downtown Los Angeles. Through painting, storytelling, and spoken word, the women of The Midnight Mission will share their journeys of recovery and renewal.

Your support makes moments like these possible.

Meet Your Neighbor, Manuel.
“It’s 100% dangerous on the streets.” Manuel has lived in Los Angeles for 25 years and says people constantly try to take his belongings.

For the last two years, he’s found comfort at The Midnight Mission, where a warm meal, especially the Danish sweetbread, brings a sense of safety and care.
