We’re excited to share a special cultural celebration organized by our Bharath Indian Parents and invite our students and families to join us on Wednesday, January 28, 2026!

*Morning Activity: Rangoli Making
Families are welcome to stop by the Arts Patio from 8:30–10:30 a.m. to watch our talented parent volunteers create beautiful rangolis, a traditional Indian art form made with colorful designs.

*Afternoon Activity: Kite Flying for TK–2nd Grade
In honor of Makar Sankranti, our TK–2nd grade students will participate in a joyful kite flying celebration after lunch. Families are welcome to come watch and cheer them on!

Hancock Park School is a naturally integrated, urban neighborhood school dedicated to nurturing the whole child.

Located in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles, our school has a diverse student population in terms of ethnicity, language, socio-economic status, and learning needs. Our mission is to build a strong academic foundation, inspire life-long learning, promote an understanding and appreciation of oneself and others, and provide a safe child-centered environment.

Hancock Park Elementary School is located at 408 S. Fairfax Avenue and is part of the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Established in 1937, the school services the residential community from Crescent Heights to La Brea and from Wilshire to Beverly Blvd.
