I am pleased to hear that we were one of the first of 3 Fire Re-Builds to obtain a permit in Pacific Palisades!
Our clients only had a year to live in their new home before it was taken away by the fires. Within weeks of submitting to the City, our permit was ready to issue on February 27th to start construction. My client and I were interviewed about the process in this article (link in Bio):

We're thrilled to be working on the renovation and restoration of the 1966 Art Seidenbaum Residence by Richard Dorman. The Southern California Chapter of the American Institute of Architects awarded it the Architectural Grand Prix prize in 1967 as one of the greatest Los Angeles pieces of architecture created between the years 1947 and 1967. The house was published in Reyner Banham's classic Los Angeles The Architecture of Four Ecologies as well as Julius Schulman Modernism Rediscovered. Photos included are from the Julius Schulman archive. Big thank you to and .modernism for their vast archive of publications including the 1967 as one of the Architectural Record Houses and in 1965 . The U.S. Modernist online archive is an invaluable resource in helping us find many articles that were not even available in architecture university libraries.
