CADEM State Convention opening Pledge of Allegiance by George Sakai. He spoke of when he was 5 to 8 years old, locked in an internment camp, deemed an enemy agent, behind barbed wire, reciting the Pledge and the irony of the words “liberty and justice for all.” And how those words mean so much to him now. So moving to go on that journey of memory and then recite the Pledge with him.

The results are in: We're so excited and happy to report that the Grassroots Slate won 10 of the 14 delegate spots in AD50!! Additionally, the top vote-getter in our district, Aura Vasquez, will become our new Executive Board Member for the delegation!

HOW TO VOTE IN THE ADEM ELECTION:
1. Locate your 10-digit ADEM Voter Registration ID that was emailed to you after you signed up. Search your inbox for an email with the subject line starting with, "ADEM Registration Confirmation." Your Voter ID will also be included in a letter that comes with your ballot. Write your Voter Registration ID on the ballot in the designated location.
2. Vote for all 14 members of the Grassroots Slate! (The names will appear in random order, and we won’t be grouped together on the ballot.)
3. Mail your ballot right away, so that it arrives by the final deadline: Wednesday, February 3 (Postage for the ballot will be prepaid, but USPS is experiencing major delays.)
