Mayor Eric Garcetti joined Assemblymember Laura Friedman, LA City Councilmembers Mitch O’Farrell and Nithya Raman, and Glendale’s Mayor Devine and Councilmember Najarian this morning to announce new funding support for LA RiverWay connectivity projects.
More than $15 million has been allocated from the State of California to add bridges and underpasses to connect and extend car-free public access to and along the River.

We want to congratulate Friends of the Los Angeles River () for managing to organize the annual LA River cleanup through the challenges of the pandemic - clearing tons of trash that inevitably gathers from watershed runoff, and doing it safely over many weeks of actions. Gratitude and congratulations to the whole team at FoLAR.
