LAPD Hollywood Senior Lead Officers and Community Relations Officer along with The Hollywood Clergy Council participated in a prayer caravan. They visited various areas of Hollywood, each assigned to a Senior Lead Officer. Each SLO provided an update on the improvements made in addressing quality-of-life issues. Everyone joined hands and prayed for the Hollywood community.
The first stop was De Longpre Park, where they prayed with community members and paid tribute to Senior Lead Officer Paul Jordan, who recently passed away. This was Officer Jordan's area, and he worked tirelessly to keep the park safe for all who visited. SLO Paul Jordan will be truly missed.
The caravan made a few more stops, including Lake Hollywood Park by the Hollywood sign, a preschool near Hollywood and Western, and outside the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood.
A special THANK YOU to Hollywood Captain Craig Heredia and all Hollywood SLO/CRO.
And a heartfelt THANK YOU to Hollywood Senior Lead Officer Mika Gonzalez and the Hollywood Clergy Council for organizing such an amazing day!
