This National Nurses Week, we want to recognize the extraordinary nurses who care for people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Whether you are an LVN, an NP, or anything in between, your work matters deeply. Thank you.

From emergency departments to discharge planning, from bedside care to recovery support, nurses are often the steady presence guiding patients through uncertainty with compassion, skill, and resilience.

At Soul, we work closely with nurses every day and witness firsthand the difference they make not only medically, but emotionally and personally. Their advocacy, patience, and humanity help create better outcomes for entire communities.

From the bottom of our hearts: Happy National Nurses Week. 🩵❤️

Dr. King’s legacy challenges how we think about care at Soul Housing--not just today, but every day, as we work to shape spaces rooted in dignity, fairness, and respect.

The work is ongoing, and we remain mindful of both the privilege and the responsibility of doing it.

Last night our Housing Navigation Supervisor Veronica braved a lightning storm to take part in Covenant House’s annual Sleep Out on Soul Housing's behalf. By standing with the young people experiencing homelessness who face these conditions every day, she also honored the support Covenant House has shown our own participants as they move toward safer futures. Moments like this remind us how deeply connected our housing community is, and how much we rely on one another to help every young person find a stable next step.

You can support Veronica’s fundraiser until Dec. 18: https://www.sleepout.org/participants/63177
