The Emergency Rental Assistance Program
(ERAP) provides free financial support to U.S. homeowners and renters facing economic hardship.
For Homeowners:
Grants cover past-due mortgage payments, homeowner's insurance, property taxes, and water bills. Payments can cover arrears for up to 18 months.
For Renters:
Receive up to $5,000 or more per month in rental assistance.

ERAP is available only as rental assistance.
