🎓 Building Futures at WISH Academy! 💙
Today, LAPD Pacific Division officers volunteered at WISH Academy High School for Speed Networking & Mock Interviews!

Students rotated through quick 5-minute interviews, practiced their elevator pitches, got resume feedback, and talked through their career goals with our officers and other community partners who came out to mentor.

Our team also shared pathways for students interested in public service, including the Police Orientation Preparation Program (POPP) a two-year, career-focused college program with LAPD and the Los Angeles Community College District.

Thank you to WISH Academy for inviting us, to all the community mentors who volunteered their time, and to the students who showed up prepared, curious, and ready to practice. We’re proud to support you as you build your future! 👏
