Teens! Find out on Thursday, April 30, how high school students can learn about the democratic process and get involved with the November 2026 and future elections! The Los Angeles County Registrar's office will share information about the Student Election Workers Program, including what they do, how to apply and more. Have a direct impact on local, state, and national elections, while earning community and/or learning service credits. Plus, get paid up to $100 per day of service.

Teens! Next week is National Library Week! Join us on Thursday, April 16, to create unique bookmarks using natural and recycled materials. Be inspired by National Poetry Month and add a haiku! Also, learn more about the library's services and have a say about what materials and programs the library offers to teens.

April is Everything Earth Month!🌎 On Thursday, April 9, join Certified Food Preservation Instructor Brie Wakeland Muszynski for a presentation on the science of fermentation and how to safely make kombucha and other fermented sodas at home. The presentation includes tasting samples, and a Kombucha zine.

Please bring a clean pint or quart size jar if you would like to take a kombucha scoby home.
