⭐️ UPDATE - ALL POWER IS RESTORED⭐️

LUB Workers were able to restore all of the power to customers while isolating the three poles that are having to be replaced.

There will likely be a short outage in the area again as the linemen put the wire back up and make the final repair connections.

Thank you for your patience! LUB appreciates our customers!

***Update*** Many have asked and the driver is ok

⚠️ **POWER OUTAGE ALERT | STEEKEE ROAD AREA** ⚠️

A tractor-trailer accident involving a power pole in the McIntyre Curve area of Steekee Road has caused a significant power outage.

**Restoration could take 6 hours or longer** due to the time required to remove the truck, replace the damaged pole, and restore the power lines.

Our crews are working to restore power to as many customers as possible while the truck is being removed. Once the area is safe, crews will complete the necessary repairs and restore service to the remaining customers as quickly as possible.

We understand the inconvenience this causes and appreciate your patience as our crews work to restore power safely.

**Please avoid the area if possible and give emergency responders and utility crews room to work.**

We will provide updates as additional information becomes available.

Loudon Utilities has observed the unauthorized use of our fire hydrants.

Anyone needing to use a fire hydrant must first sign up and obtain a Loudon Utilities’ hydrant meter through Customer Service (865-458-2091).

This ensures water usage is properly metered, billed, and documented.

If you see unauthorized use of a fire hydrant, please contact Customer Service.

Thank you for helping us protect and responsibly manage our water system.
