Every donation counts. Severe bleeding is one of the leading causes of preventable death in emergencies, and a single donation can make a difference for up to three people in critical need. EMS providers are increasingly able to deliver blood transfusions in the field — putting your donation to work before a patient ever reaches the hospital.
