Celebrating Red Ribbon Week at LC Schools! Next week, our LC Schools will be honoring Red Ribbon Week! Be sure to check your school's flyer to discover the exciting activities they have planned for the week ahead!

The Importance of Red Ribbon Week for Our Students! Red Ribbon Week is the nation’s oldest and largest drug prevention awareness initiative. This week provides a dedicated opportunity for schools, families, and communities to unite in promoting the significance of making safe, healthy, and drug-free choices.

Throughout the week, our emphasis extends beyond simply saying “no.” Students will learn how to:
- Make Healthy Choices & Decisions
- Build Character & Confidence
- Identify Trusted Adults

How Parents & the Community Can Get Involved! Drug prevention is most effective when schools and families work together. Here’s how you can support our students during this week:
- Start a dialogue by discussing safe choices and the risks associated with substance use with your child.
- Join in on spirit days and encourage your child to participate in our Red Ribbon Week dress-up days and activities.
- Let’s all serve as role models by promoting positive, healthy habits at home.

Together, we can work to build a safer, healthier future for our youth!

We have a fun and busy week coming up! Red Ribbon Week, Book Fair, Family Data Night, KONA Ice, Remix Assembly, and we will top it all off with our Halloween parties and costumes. Cookie dough orders are also scheduled to deliver next week and we will pot the pick up schedule next week. Let's make it a great week!
