Today, our Mustangs had the opportunity to welcome some very special guests for our first Family Lunch Day! We loved seeing our cafeteria filled with families, smiles, conversations, and lots of Mustang pride.

Thank you to all of our families who joined us and helped make today so special for our students. These moments of connection are what make our LES community such a wonderful place to be!

Huge shoutout to our incredible staff at LES! 🎉
To thank everyone for their hard work and dedication, we started the morning with a little surprise: donuts and juice for the ultimate morning sugar rush! 🍩
The energy, passion, and commitment of each staff member keeps us moving forward every single day. We appreciate everything our staff does— we hope they enjoyed the sweet treat provided by our school's PBIS team from The Donut Shoppe, they earned it!

MAJOR TRIUMPH FOR THE LOUISBURG MUSTANGS! 💙🐎

We have a monumental accomplishment to celebrate at Louisburg Elementary School! Following the 2025-26 state accountability release, LES has officially EXITED Low-Performing School status and elevated its School Performance Grade to a "C"—jumping an incredible 8 points in its performance score! 🎉

Guided by our district theme, , the teachers, staff, and students at LES put in relentless work to shed the low-performing label and showcase what Mustang pride is all about:

📊 Overall Composite: Reached 51% GLP (an +8.5 point gain from last year!)
🏆 State Designation: NO LONGER LOW-PERFORMING!
🔬 5th Grade Science: A stellar 69% proficiency!
🧮 NC Math: 50% proficiency!
🌱 Growth Status: MET state academic growth standards!

To our dedicated LES teachers, hardworking Mustangs, and supportive families: congratulations on this transformative success! Let's keep galloping forward together! 🤝🐴
