Better late than never for our Welcome Wednesday! Although Artie isn’t new to the Adoption Assistance family, tonight we’re excited to share Rachel and Matthew’s words about their son who just celebrated his 4th birthday this past weekend! We’re so happy to celebrate Artie and the joy he brings to his family. Happy 4th birthday, Artie!

“His birthday is a time that I always think about all of the people and organizations that played a part in bringing our family together.

He had some complications at birth and received early intervention services, all of which he graduated at age 3. He is absolutely thriving now! He’s all boy! He loves cars, Paw Patrol, playing soccer, and driving his “little red car.” He has discovered humor this last year and started cracking jokes. He loves his family and his friends. He loves Jesus and participating at church.

Four years have passed and we will never forget God’s intervention and the people who helped us get here. Thank you for the part you played in Artie’s adoption and in making us a family.” - Rachel and Matthew

Welcome Wednesday!

Last week, this sweet couple finalized the adoption of Amelia Grace! Congratulations, Corey and Matt! We’re so grateful you shared your story with the Adoption Assistance family.

“August 20 will forever be the day our world fully clicked into place, we finalized! Bringing Amelia Grace into our lives hasn't just added a new member to our home; it has transformed our entire sense of purpose and completion. After all the anticipation, the waiting, and the preparation, holding her in our arms brought a profound clarity: this is the piece of our hearts that was missing all along.

Matt and I (Corey) look at her and see our past hope, our present joy, and our entire future wrapped up in one precious girl. The laughter in our home feels richer, the daily moments carry deeper meaning, and the love we share as a couple has expanded exponentially to wrap around our daughter. We are no longer just looking forward to building a family—we are living it, completely whole, utterly happy, and endlessly grateful for every single moment with our sweet Amelia Grace.

Ryan and Kayla have an open adoption with Stella’s birth mother, and they communicate with her frequently—something we’re so happy to celebrate as part of Stella’s story.
