💗 Breast Cancer Awareness Month 💗

This October, the Lovejoy Police Department stands with all those who are fighting breast cancer, those who have survived, and the families and loved ones who stand beside them.

🎀 The real heroes aren’t just the ones who wear a badge — the real heroes are those fighting cancer and those who are surviving it. 🎀
Your courage, strength, and determination inspire us all. You remind us what true resilience looks like. This month, we encourage our community to raise awareness, show support, wear pink, and spread hope as we honor the fighters, celebrate the survivors, and remember those we have lost.
💗 Real heroes fight.
Real heroes survive.
Real heroes inspire.
From all of us at the Lovejoy Police Department — we see you, we support you, and we stand with you. 💗

📚👮🏽‍♂️ Books, Badges & Little Smiles — Building Community One Story at a Time! 💙📖

**A little story, a little cheer,
Officer Fitts is always near!
Turning pages, sharing smiles,
Building friendships that last for miles!** 💙

At the Lovejoy Police Department, community policing is more than just wearing a badge — it's about building relationships, inspiring young minds, and making a difference!

Our very own Ofc. Fitts AKA "Big Fitts" often volunteers his time to visit a local daycare, where he reads to some of our littlest citizens! Today Ofc. Kayla Brown also tagged along and assisted with this wonderful adventure.

Through every story and every smile, they are showing our youth that police officers are not only here to protect and serve, but also to encourage, educate, and care.

👏 Thank you, Ofc. Fitts and Ofc. Brown for going beyond the badge and making every storytime special!

💙 Big Badges, Little Readers, Bright Futures! 💙

💙 Community policing with our smallest citizens! 🧸👮

While out on foot patrol, Lovejoy Police Department officers were stopped by some of our smallest citizens! Our officers shared police hats and teddy bears, making time to connect with the children and show them a friendly face behind the badge.

We love to see it! Thank you to Sgt. Washington, Ofc. Fitts, and Lt. Bryant for helping build trust and making our youngest neighbors feel special. 💙
