At PrideStar Trinity EMS, teamwork isn't just about what happens during an emergency. It's also about supporting one another behind the scenes.

We recently received a wonderful employee shout-out recognizing Operations Manager Bryan Black for going above and beyond to assist a crew experiencing technical difficulties with their laptop.

Brian quickly troubleshot the issue, restored connectivity, and then personally delivered the laptop to the crew at their call. He even assisted with getting their documentation started to ensure everything ran smoothly.

As the employee shared:

“I am thankful to have BB on shift on Wednesdays.”

It's moments like these that remind us how important strong leadership and teamwork are to our daily operations.

Thank you, Brian, for being the kind of leader who steps up, follows through, and always has his crews' backs!

Do you know when to call 911?

If someone is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, such as severe difficulty breathing, chest pain, signs of a stroke, severe bleeding, or loss of consciousness call 911 right away.

When you call, stay calm and provide the dispatcher with as much information as you can.

Remember: dispatchers are there to help you while EMS is on the way! 🚑

❤️ 💨 Getting to the HEART (and LUNGS) of the Matter!

This past weekend, our PrideStar Trinity EMS Academy students traded textbooks for some hands-on learning!

Rather than just talking about how the heart and lungs work together, we gave our students the opportunity to see it for themselves!

❤️ Heart dissection – Getting an up-close look at the anatomy of the heart and how it functions.

💨 Lungs in action – Connecting real lungs to a bag-valve mask (Ambu bag) and watching them inflate to better understand how breathing and ventilation work.

At PrideStar Trinity, we believe some of the best learning happens when students can roll up their sleeves, ask questions and experience things firsthand.

It's one thing to learn about the human body in a classroom. It's another to actually see how these vital organs work and understand their connection to the lifesaving care our EMTs provide every day.

Great job to our students and instructors for another fun and educational weekend at the Academy! 🚑

As the seasons change, take a few minutes to make sure your household is prepared:

✅Check flashlights and batteries
✅Restock your first-aid kit
✅Review medications and emergency contacts
✅Test smoke and carbon monoxide alarms
✅Make sure your emergency contacts are up to date

A little preparation today can make a big difference when an emergency happens.

📣 NOW ENROLLING: Winter EMT Academy! 🚑

We’re excited to announce two new EMT Academy classes starting Jan. 26, with options to fit your schedule:

☀️ Day Class: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9am–1pm
🌙 Evening Class: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6pm–10pm

Both classes are in person and include 4 Saturdays, running through May 6. Tuition reimbursement is available for qualified candidates.
