Temporary Fire Company Closings (Brownouts)

Engine Co. 11, located at the Lawrence Street fire station, has been shut down for the night shift, 6pm-8am. This means the South Lowell, Sacred Heart, and The Grove neighborhoods are currently without their immediate, dedicated fire suppression and emergency medical response.

In the event of an emergency, please anticipate increased wait times as our response will be coming from further away.

The Fire Department is an essential component of the public’s safety, and in our line of work, seconds matter. If you are ever in need of our help, call 911, we will ALWAYS show up.
