November is all about gratitude, and our Pierce Hammock PTO wants to take the entire month to celebrate the amazing people who make our school so special — OUR STAFF! 🐾❤️

All month long, we'll be highlighting some of our incredible Pierce Hammock teachers and staff members to show just how much they mean to our Panther family. From the big things they do every day to the little moments that make a difference, we are SO thankful for each and every one of them!

We're kicking things off by celebrating Mrs. Paul! 🍎🍂

Mrs. Paul brings positivity, smiles, and cheer all around campus, and we are so lucky to have her as part of our Panther family!

📚🎃 Our favorite storybook characters are coming to life! Join us for Pierce Hammock’s annual Storybook Parade this Friday, October 30!

Families are welcome! Please arrive at 8:15 a.m. The parade begins at 8:30 a.m. Students will walk across the stage, through the café where visitors will be seated, and around the school for everyone to enjoy their costumes!

📝 Please complete the attendance form sent to families for each person planning to attend so we know how many visitors to expect.

📖 Students should dress as a book character and bring the book featuring their character.
🚫 No inflatable costumes, masks, or weapons are allowed.

We can’t wait to celebrate reading with our Panther families! 🐾

🎃👻 WOW! What a SPOOKTACULAR night! 👻🎃

We had SO much fun at our Annual Trunk or Treat yesterday! Thank goodness that rain came and went quickly so we could enjoy an evening full of holiday fun, creative trunks, candy, and lots of smiles!

A HUGE thank you to all of our amazing trunkers, volunteers, and everyone who donated candy to make this event such a success! We couldn’t do it without our incredible Panther family!

Everyone had a BLAST, and we are so grateful for the wonderful community that makes events like this so special!

🎉 Two incredible people. So much Panther pride! 🐾

Congratulations to Pierce Hammock’s Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Ramsdell! Warm, loving, and always putting kids first, Mrs. Ramsdell helps students discover talents and interests they never knew they had. Through TV production, coding, performing, and leadership, she creates opportunities beyond the school day that build confidence and spark passions students can carry into their futures. As co-house lead, co-coordinator of our new Multimedia/TV Production Choice Program, and co-director of our annual musicals, she encourages students to believe in themselves and try something new—all with a smile!

We’re also excited to congratulate Officer Guy on his nomination for School-Related Employee of the Month! Officer Guy brings joy, compassion, and a comforting sense of safety to our school every day. Whether he’s dancing in the car line, walking students to class, finding lost recess balls, helping children shop at the Book Fair, or joining our House Meetings, he never hesitates to jump in. His genuine, thoughtful interactions show students that they matter. He takes time to listen, offer encouragement, and build connections that help our children feel safe, cared for, and ready to learn.

Making the celebration even more special, our area’s school district representative, Marcia Andrews, stopped by to congratulate them! Thank you for joining us to recognize these two wonderful members of our school community!
