Dana was a single mom, in the middle of a divorce, and pregnant with another man’s baby.
Then she discovered she was pregnant with triplets.
The babies’ father was in jail, and the more Dana learned about the drugs he’d been taking, the more fear built up inside her.
At 4 ½ months pregnant, Dana called Planned Parenthood.
They made an appointment for her the very next day.
Dana received no counseling from Planned Parenthood.
No information on the abortion procedure.
She was given a drink to calm her and stop her shaking.
The next thing Dana knew, she was waking up in a white chair.
Within two hours, Planned Parenthood wished her luck and told her to lie and tell everyone she miscarried.
Dana’s feelings of regret were immediate.
“Planned Parenthood takes broken women and they feed off of them. It’s like cancer feeding on sugar.”
One week later, Dana was still bleeding.
“I still had baby parts in my body.”
“...like that last piece of them is trying to hold on to you.”
Dana wants women considering abortion to know that how they feel today will not be how they feel tomorrow.
“I want them to know abortion is permanent.
It’s not something you can change.
It’s not something you can fix.
It’s not something you can go back and do over.
In fact, it’s the one thing in life you can’t go back and do over.”
Dana is now dedicated to making abortion illegal.
