💜 TODAY IS THE DAY — SOA IS COMING HOME! 💜

Two weeks ago, we were faced with a decision we never wanted to make. Soa’s little body was so weak and so badly injured that we had to consider whether letting her go was the kindest thing we could do.

We chose to give her a chance.

And what has happened since then feels nothing short of a miracle. 🙏💜

Soa has progressed unimaginably well. She has gained weight, her tail is healing, her bone density has improved, and every day she has shown us just how much fight is inside that tiny body.

We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Heard and her amazing team for the extraordinary care, compassion, and dedication they have given Soa over these past two weeks. They gave this little girl every opportunity to fight, heal, and get strong enough to come home.

Today, by the grace of God and with the incredible care she has received from Dr. Heard and her team, Soa is coming HOME to Ringtail Ranch.

This is the beginning of her new life — a life where she will be safe, loved, protected, and given everything she needs to continue healing.

Our staff and volunteers are eagerly awaiting her arrival, and we cannot wait to welcome this sweet girl home. 💜

From wondering if she would survive… to bringing her home.

💜 SOA IS COMING HOME THURSDAY! 💜

After nearly two weeks of intensive veterinary care, we are so grateful to share that Soa will be coming home to Ringtail Ranch on Thursday and beginning the next stage of her recovery.

This is only the beginning for this sweet girl. Soa still has a long road ahead as we work to help her body heal, rebuild her strength, and prepare for the medical care and surgery she will need in the future.

She will continue receiving specialized nutrition, medications, supportive care, and lots of love as we take her recovery one day at a time.

We are incredibly thankful for everyone who has donated, prayed, shared her story, and stood behind Soa. Your support is helping us give her the chance to heal.

Her medical care is far from over, so donations are still desperately needed as we continue this journey.

💜 Update on Soa

Soa was originally expected to come home, but after further discussion with her veterinary team, we have decided that the best place for her right now is to remain in veterinary care a little longer.

Our goal is to give Soa the strongest possible foundation moving forward. Her little body has been through so much, and we want her as stable, nourished, comfortable, and strong as possible as we prepare for the next steps in her recovery and future surgery.

She continues to receive around-the-clock care, nutrition, medications, treatments, and lots of love. 💜

A McGregor rescue is now asking the community for help after taking in a severely malnourished ringtail lemur with several broken bones.

💜 UPDATE ON SOA — JUSTICE FOR SOA! 💜

Soa has now been hospitalized for almost a week.

During that time, she has received extensive diagnostic testing, 24/7 care, IV fluids, antibiotics, pain medication, laser treatments, acupuncture, nutritional support, and most importantly — lots and lots of love. 💜

We are happy to share that Soa will hopefully be coming home soon!

Coming home does not mean her journey is over. It means we are moving into the next stage of her recovery. We will continue providing the care, nutrition, medications, monitoring, and support she needs while we work to get her little body stronger and healthier.

Our goal now is to help Soa gain strength and improve her overall health so she can safely undergo the surgery and future treatments she will need.

She still has a long road ahead of her, but she will not walk it alone.

💜 UPDATE ON SOA — PLEASE HELP US KEEP FIGHTING FOR HER 💜

We have some encouraging news today — Soa has improved and has gained a little weight! Her lab work is coming back, and her care team is beginning to put the pieces of the puzzle together.

We now know that Soa will need surgery. Before that can happen, we need to get her stronger and give her little body the best possible chance.

Her veterinary care is extensive and will continue to grow as we move toward surgery and recovery. We desperately need your help.

❤️‍🩹 UPDATE ON SOA — SHE NEEDS US ❤️‍🩹

Soa had a thorough veterinary examination today, including additional X-rays. What we can share right now is that her condition is serious, and this little girl has a very long road ahead of her.

Because there is an active investigation, we cannot share the specific details of her injuries or circumstances at this time.

Soa is currently receiving 24-hour veterinary care. After discussing her condition and treatment options with her veterinary team, we have made the decision to give Soa every reasonable opportunity to fight, heal and recover.

I am personally committed to giving Soa the care, treatment, time and resources she needs, while always keeping her comfort and quality of life first.

Her care will be extensive, and we need your help. Veterinary care, medications, continued diagnostics, proper nutrition and rehabilitation will all be part of Soa’s journey.
