❤️📚United We Read at McWhorter📚❤️

Our second grade classes had a special visit from the Lubbock Area United Way United We Read initiative! This partnership encourages second grade students to build reading skills and prepare for third grade. Our amazing volunteers read Say Something! by Peter H. Reynolds to remind them to use their voices because they matter!

We are incredibly blessed by our community partners!
