🎉 Congratulations, Firefighter/Paramedic Kristian Millano! 👏🚑

Today we celebrate Kristian reaching 3 years of service with Lucas Fire-Rescue!
Over the past three years, Kristian has demonstrated a strong commitment to both the fire service and emergency medical care.

Those who know Kristian also know him for his genuine kindness and his heart for taking care of others. Whether he is helping a patient, interacting with a resident, or lending a hand around the station, Kristian approaches people with patience, compassion, and a true customer-service mindset.

We are grateful for the positive attitude and caring heart Kristian brings to Lucas Fire-Rescue and the community we serve.

Please join us in congratulating Kristian on 3 years of service and thanking him for all he does for Lucas! 👏🚒❤️

🔥 BURN BAN LIFTED – COLLIN COUNTY 🔥

The burn ban for Collin County has been lifted.

Outdoor burning may now resume where permitted. However, residents are encouraged to continue using caution when burning outdoors and to always have a water source or other means of extinguishment readily available. To view the City of Lucas Outdoor Burning Regulations please visit: https://www.lucastexas.us/DocumentCenter/View/396/City-of-Lucas-Outdoor-Burning-Regulations-PDF?bidId=

Even without a burn ban in effect, dry vegetation can ignite and spread quickly. Please never leave a fire unattended and be mindful of wind and weather conditions before burning.

For current Collin County burn ban information, visit:
https://texasburnbans.net/collin

Thank you for helping us keep Lucas safe! 🚒🔥
