The City of Lucedale is currently accepting resumes from attorneys interested in serving as its part-time City Prosecutor.

Municipal Court is held on the first Wednesday morning of each month. The position pays $800 per month and does not include benefits.

Interested attorneys should submit their resumes to the Lucedale City Clerk by October 30, 2026, at [email protected].

🚧 PUBLIC NOTICE – TEMPORARY PARKING & ENTRANCE CHANGES 🚧

Due to construction at the Lucedale Police Department, we are asking anyone needing to conduct business with the Lucedale Police Department or Lucedale Municipal Court to please park on the back side (the side facing City Hall) of the Police Department and enter through the employee entrances today.

⚠️ Please remember:

Park on the back side of the building.

Do not park under the awning.

Do not block police vehicles.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work through these temporary changes!

The Lucedale Police Department would like to say a special thank-you to Sara Huot and Jessica James Henry, Ambassadors with the Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence, and Kerahdy Broome for stopping by the department on Wednesday to tie purple ribbons on our patrol cars and help spread awareness for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
We also appreciate the sweet treat—donuts with purple icing! 💜🍩
