🌋Science came to life at Harris Brook Elementary School!

After learning about cone and shield volcanoes, our fourth-grade scientists gathered outside for the annual live volcano simulation. Wearing lab coats and protective glasses, science teachers challenged students to put their knowledge to the test by answering questions and making observations.

The highlight? Watching their teacher get splashed with “lava”! What a memorable way to bring classroom learning to life! 🧑‍🔬🧪

What a wonderful start to the school year! Over the past two weeks, our students and staff have been busy reconnecting, establishing routines, and building the foundation for a successful year ahead.

Families at East Street Elementary School and Harris Brook Elementary School also had the opportunity to visit classrooms, meet teachers, and learn more about the exciting year ahead during their open houses. Thank you to everyone who helped make the first two weeks so welcoming and positive—we’re off to a great start! 🍎📒📚✏️
