🥤🍿 A little afternoon pick-me-up to wrap up Red Ribbon Week and Costume Day! 🎃👻

Sonic drinks from our campus and popcorn candy buckets from the district made for the perfect treat to help our staff finish the week strong! ❤️

We appreciate our amazing staff and all they do to make PCA such a fun and special place to be. A little caffeine, a little sugar, and a whole lot of Timberwolf spirit! 🐺💙

✊✋✌️ ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS… CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! ✌️✋✊

Red Ribbon Week brought out everyone’s competitive side with our campus-wide Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament! Students and staff started the day with a bead necklace and spent the day challenging one another to best-of-three matchups. The winner claimed all of their opponent’s necklaces and kept moving up the ranks until only one champion remained! Congratulations Maddox Martin!

The competition came down to an exciting final showdown, and we had a BLAST watching the necklaces change hands throughout the day! 😂🏆

A huge THANK YOU to our Drug-Free Council for planning such fun activities throughout Red Ribbon Week, and to everyone who jumped in, played along, and made the week so much fun!

Make a Difference. Be a Hero. Stay Drug Free. ❤️

📸🎓 SENIOR PICTURE DAY! 🎓📸

One more milestone in the books for our Timberwolves!

Senior picture day is a reminder of just how quickly these years have flown by. From their first days as freshmen to now being seniors, these students have grown, made memories, built friendships, and accomplished so much along the way. 💙

RED RIBBON WEEK: GROWING UP DRUG FREE!

From babies to senior citizens… our Timberwolves covered it ALL today!

Freshmen were babies 👶
Sophomores were teens 😎
Juniors were millennials 📱😂
Seniors were senior citizens 👵👴

We had a whole lot of laughs, a little nostalgia, and some seriously creative outfits! 🤣 Our Timberwolves are proving that no matter what age you are, you can always BE A HERO. MAKE A DIFFERENCE. STAY DRUG FREE!

Because growing up is inevitable… but staying drug free is ALWAYS the right choice!

PCA CELEBRATES A SAY WHAT! TEEN AMBASSADOR!

Last night at our school board meeting, we had the opportunity to recognize our very own junior, Cashton Falls, for being selected as a Say What! Teen Ambassador!

This is a competitive leadership opportunity that required an application, a video submission, references, and an interview. Out of the nine teen ambassadors selected across Texas, we are proud to have one representing Pineywoods Community Academy High School!

As a Teen Ambassador, Cashton will help educate others about the manipulation and misinformation surrounding va**ng and commercialized to***co products. Throughout the year, he will complete service projects, deliver a speech, participate in virtual meetings, attend a summer leadership summit, and share his experiences through a school education project.

We are incredibly proud of Cashton for stepping into this leadership role and using his voice to make a positive impact on his peers and community. Congratulations on this outstanding accomplishment! We look forward to seeing all the great things you will do as a Say What! Teen Ambassador!
