Detcog FSS Program

10/12/2026

Last week, we ladies got together at Angelina College to try our hand at decorating cookies. We had a wonderful time, and everyone did a great job!
I hope activities like this help my participants discover a hobby they love—or even inspire a small business they can run from home to support their families. Decorating cookies takes patience, time, and talent, and I have a whole new appreciation for the work behind them.
As for me, I’ll stick to making shirts and other crafts. My cookie roses didn’t look much like roses, but they tasted delicious!
