🌟 Employee Spotlight: Macy Beckwith 🌟

Meet Macy Beckwith, a Patient Care Tech in our Emergency Room who has been part of our hospital family for 12 years! ❤️

For Macy, the best part of her job is the people. She loves working alongside her coworkers, supporting patients during difficult moments, and knowing that even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference.

One of her favorite things about her ER team is how they always have each other’s backs, even on the busiest days. Between the teamwork, support, and laughter, Macy says they feel more like family than coworkers!

When she’s not caring for patients, Macy enjoys spending time with family and friends, relaxing at the beach, and loving on her 4-year-old Goldendoodle, Annie! 🐾☀️

With the potential for severe weather in our area, Crenshaw Community Hospital encourages everyone to stay weather aware and take the necessary precautions to stay safe.

🚨 IMPORTANT REGISTRATION UPDATE:

Due to the anticipated weather, our front desk registration will close at 12:00 PM on Friday, October 9.

After 12:00 PM, anyone needing to register or check in must enter through the Emergency Department (ER) entrance.

🏥 Our Emergency Department remains OPEN 24/7 and ready to serve our community.

Please stay informed, use caution when traveling, and never attempt to drive through flooded roadways.

🌟 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT | ELIZABETH KRUG 🌟

Meet Elizabeth Krug, HIM Manager at Crenshaw Community Hospital! Elizabeth has been part of the CCH family for 7 years and loves that even though she works in the same role each day, no two days are ever exactly the same.

One of her favorite things about CCH is the teamwork. 💙 She says the Health Information team is always willing to step in, learn something new, and help one another get the job done.

Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys baking, quilting, crocheting, reading, listening to music, and spending time with her standard poodle, Oakleigh. 🐾

This week is an important reminder that mental illness can affect anyone—our friends, family members, coworkers, neighbors, and people we may never realize are struggling.

A little compassion can go a long way. Check in on the people you love. Listen without judgment. Be kind. And remember that asking for help is a sign of strength.

📍 Crenshaw Community Hospital | Luverne, Alabama

Crenshaw Community Hospital is looking for a knowledgeable, dependable, and motivated IT Specialist to join our team!

This position will provide technical support throughout the hospital, including troubleshooting computers and software, assisting with network and connectivity issues, supporting hospital systems, and helping keep our technology running smoothly and securely.

We’re looking for someone with:
• Previous IT or technical support experience
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• The ability to work independently and prioritize technical needs

Healthcare IT experience, CPSI experience, EHR/EMR knowledge, and IT certifications are preferred, but not required.

Candidates with a strong general IT background who are willing to learn healthcare-specific systems are encouraged to apply!
