New road in Hazle Twp. to help Hazleton Area School District!

So much road and bridge work going on in Luzerne County right now. I notice it while I am out driving.

I am glad to see that the Luzerne County Administration and County Council is prioritizing roads and bridges.

Besides what we currently see - there is more road work planning in progress!

I had the privilege of attending the Dress for Success Luzerne County “Diamonds Downtown” fundraiser tonight - to say it was inspiring is an understatement.

This organization, led by the incredible Linda Loop, does such good outreach to women in our local community. They don’t just hand someone an outfit; they wrap them in confidence, dignity, and a network of pure support to help them achieve economic success.

If you are looking for an organization truly changing lives from the inside out, please look into supporting or volunteering with dressforsuccess.org.

We were honored to welcome Denise Williams,Brittany Stephenson, and Dawn Simmons, from The Luzerne County Council for a tour and an open conversation with our CEO Lynn Brown and team members about how Opioid Settlement grant funding is making a real difference right here in our community.

It was such a pleasure to connect with local leaders who genuinely care about the well-being of our neighbors. We walked them through the progress we've made, shared how these investments are improving our facility and patient services, and gave them a sneak peek at some of the exciting projects we currently have underway.

We are so thankful for the Council for their visit and dedication to finding real solutions for those impacted by Opioid Use Disorder. Their support helps us turn hope into healing.

Together, we truly can build a stronger, healthier Luzerne County—one life at a time. 💙
