🔥 STRUCTURE FIRE 🔥

This morning around 4am, East Fire was dispatched to the 10000 block of Hwy 46 for a reported structure fire that was called in by THP. Units responded and found a small camper fully involved, but fire contained to only the camper. A hose line was pulled from E11 and the fire extinguished.

Initially, mutual air requests were sent to Centerville Fire and Dickson EMA/Fire for assistance. Shortly after arrival, incident command determined that our resources could handle the incident, and canceled the requests.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported. We are also thankful for our partners in law enforcement, who are always keeping an eye out.

Responding apparatus: Engine 11, Engine 12, Tanker 14

Also on scene: THP, HCSO

‼️ ENGINE 12 UPGRADE ‼️

To best serve growing community needs and due to limited hydrants in our area, East Fire has taken a necessary and pro-active step....by upgrading Engine 12.

Our “new to us” Engine 12 features a much larger water tank, going from 1,000 to a 2,500 gallon capacity. With this rig comes multiple safety feature upgrades, making it safer for our volunteers to serve our community.

East Fire takes pride in serving the citizens of Lyles, Bon Aqua, and the surrounding areas. We are always seeking opportunity to improve our services for you…and we thank you sincerely for your support.
