Parents/Guardians,

We are looking to add students to the MCSN crew!

The Moore County Sports Network (MCSN) is a hard-working, student-driven group that live streams Moore County athletics and supports a variety of media needs throughout our school and community.

Being part of MCSN is about more than working a camera or calling a game. Our crew works in high-pressure situations, represents Moore County with professionalism, solves problems on the fly, and steps up whenever our school or community needs us.

If your student is looking to challenge themselves, learn new skills, work as part of a team, or explore an interest in broadcasting, sports media, photography, videography, commentary, or production, we'd love for them to try MCSN.

No experience? That's okay. We're looking for students who are willing to learn, work hard, be dependable, and represent Moore County well.

Interested in joining the crew?
Please complete the interest form and reach out to Mr. Deal with any questions or concerns.

We look forward to adding new members to our team and continuing to grow the Moore County Sports Network!

The world doesn’t need more noise—it needs more kindness.

More holding doors open for strangers.

More patience in the checkout line.

More looking up. More eye contact.

More giving people the benefit of the doubt.

More choosing to soften instead of snap.

More noticing the person who feels invisible.

More “I’ve got you” and less “figure it out.”

More small things that will never make headlines—but might completely change someone’s day.

Because kindness doesn’t have to be loud to make a difference.

Sometimes, the smallest thing you do becomes the biggest thing someone carries with them. 🩷

The man who chases flames and rescues victims
is also a husband who has held his wife’s hand
through losses that broke their hearts.

The man who runs toward chaos
also stands steady in the kitchen
after hard conversations and long days.

The man who carries strangers from danger
also carries groceries, sleeping toddlers,
and helps his kids feel safe after bad dreams.

The man who faces roaring fire
also faces doctor’s appointments,
little tears on FaceTime when he’s at the station,
and seasons of burnout.

The man who wears courage on his chest
wears patience at the dinner table
and a quiet determination to give his best in both roles.

The sirens may call him brave.
But the ones who love him
know he is faithful, kind, and hardworking.

He fights fires with strength.
He fights for his family with consistency —
with sacrifice,
with love that doesn’t clock out.

And in both places —
whether the lights are flashing
or the house is finally still —
he shows up. ❤️

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐛 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐦𝐨𝐤𝐞.

It’s being first to chaos and last to leave it.
It’s kicking down a door, not knowing what waits inside.
It’s carrying someone else’s worst day home on your shoulders.

They don’t just battle flames —
they battle time,
darkness,
grief,
and the weight of choices no one sees.

They remember the cries they couldn’t quiet.
The hands they held.
The ones they let go.

This is what it really means to wear the badge.
Not adrenaline. Not headlines.

Just because it’s a “normal” day at the office
doesn’t mean it’s not heavy.

You’re allowed to feel it.
You’re allowed to talk about it.
And it’s okay to ask for help when you need it. 💛

Simply a huge Thank you post!
We would like to say Thank you to everyone who came out today to support our annual Tunnel to Towers 5k run here in Lynchburg.

This event would not be possible without the hard work and support behind the scenes. Our FD, EMS, Sheriffs department, Jack Daniels distillery and so many more that I’m sure I will forget to mention.
Together we have raised over $100k for T2T since we started in 2021. We as a community have made a difference and will continue to do so. Please join us next September to do the same.
