The Kingsland Avenue Bridge has scheduled intermittent closures for it's biannual testing on October 20, 21 and 22. The closures are conducted by NJDOT and Bergen County. Please plan an alternate route.

DeJessa Memorial Bridge Closures Next Week

On October 20, 21, & 22, 2026 GFT Infrastructure, Inc. will be performing a routine bridge inspection of Kingland Avenue Bridge over Passaic River as part of an inspection project with the NJDOT. This will occur between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Please plan an alternate route during these times.

Tree Removal Jauncey Avenue - Road Closure

The Lyndhurst DPW will be removing a tree tomorrow, Thursday, October 1, 2026 from 7 AM - 1PM, on Jauncey Avenue between Riverside Avenue and Chase Avenue.

Please plan an alternate route as the roadway will be closed.

DeJessa Bridge Routine Maintenance 09/30/26

On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, GFT Infrastructure, Inc. will be performing a routine bridge inspection of Kingland Avenue Bridge over Passaic River as part of an inspection project with the NJDOT.
One lane of traffic will be shut down between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm, with alternating traffic being allowed in the open lane. Traffic control personnel will assist with traffic moving through the work zone.”

Additional day of mechanical and electrical inspection will follow during the week of October 19threquiring short duration lane closures to open and close the bridge for testing.
