LCWD crew will need to shutdown a portion of the system to correct an issue and assist the homeowner's contractor with the installation of a new water service to a new home on Main Street between Wing Road and Lowell Street. The shutdown will impact the surrounding area.

Effective October 19, 2026, the Lynnfield Center Water District office is moving to Town Hall, located at 55 Summer Street (inside the Treasurer’s Office). Consequently, our 83 Phillips Road location will be closed to the public and will no longer handle customer transactions.

Due to the move, the office will be closed on Friday 10/16/26. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The Lynnfield Center Water District's phone system provider is experiencing a nation-wide outage and is currently working to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, we do not know when the phone situation will be resolved. In the meantime, for all after-hour emergencies, please contact the police department at 781-334-6505. Police dispatch will immediately reach out to the on-call operator.

Water is being restored within the hour..discoloration will continue into the evening as flows return to normal and pressure stabilizes.
Run cold water first in area of impact. Other neighborhoods should also remain vigilant and run cold water first as tanks fill and system flows re-establish.
